I had some factory loaded stuff and it shot really well out of my Savage 1:12 twist. Never really thought to give their loose bullets a try though.

They're just a Hornady V-Max with a differnt color tip. I've used them in my .204, they worked good, just like the V-Max.

Around 2005, just after the 204R was introduced, I was shooting ground squirrels with one of the writers, and he gave me 100 rounds of the 40gr Rem Accu-Tip. Out of my Sako 204, and my 11-twist M700, both rifles printed right at .75 MOA with it.

I usually never shoot factory, but for free, what the heck, right? But I was surprised the stuff was as accurate as it was.....not bad for factory fodder. (And that's the last factory ammo either rifle has ever or will ever fire! )

I hear ya RIO. I have never fired a factory round thru my Howa, chambered in 204R. But if someone gave me some factory rounds to try, for free, I would be tempted to try them, just for grins :chin: At the same time, I will never change from my reloads to factory rounds. For my 223, I did buy a 40 round box of factory ammo, just for the brass, and to break in the rifle.

I'm talking about Accutip bullets for reloading, not factory loaded ones

Like Broper mentioned, they're just v-maxes with a green tip. Just pick up some Hornady 40s and you'll have the same bullet.
