alliant book

why doesn't alliant list 10x for 39 grain bullets in their 2016 book ? that combo seems to be my best load in my .204 cz varmint.

Same here, but why ask us?

Contact Alliant yourself and get the straight scoop from them instead of internet guesses....... :chin:

alliant did get back to me.they said x10 for 39 grainers didn't make it into the manual, but 25.1 is max for 39 grain blitz kings.

Interesting. At least they answered you somewhat. I wonder why, if they did some test runs with it, and did tell you their findings on the max load, why then not add it too the book. They must not have given a reason, right ? Bill K

duane just said it didn't make it into the 2016 manual,I have no idea why.I've been reloading for almost 40 years but just recently bought a .204.I came to this forum looking for some loads and lots of folks love 10x that's why I was baffled it wasn't listed!

Alliant makes a good product but the [lack of] info they put out can be frustrating
