I use Hornady, RCBS, Redding and Whidden dies and they all have the decapping rod in the FL die. But if I am decapping the military brass, with the crimp, I use a RCBS decapping die made for those. Then I also use the RCBS die set made to remove the crimp and resize the primer/base of the cartridge. Bill K

I have been using a Lee Collet, neck sizing die since I had to have Lee special make one for me, when I got my 204 back in 2007, I believe. Back then, all that was available was the standard dies. Lee was making that die for most other cartridges, but the 204 was a fairly new cartridge. Because I only neck size my brass, it just made good sense to me, and that is still the way I take care of my brass today. Works for me!

I use a Redding decapping die with the small rod. Use it for all of my cases. Removed the pin from all of my sizing dies. I like to check/clean primer pockets then tumble before sizing. Not the only way to go about it but, that's how I do it.

I use my Lyman for everything above .20 caliber. The decapping pin is too large for the .20's so I use a Lee decapping die on those.

I ended up buying a decapping die from Sinclair with the optional 17-20 cal adapter. Love it :D .

I've been using the RCBS case lube die. It's been a while, but I think I had to remove the decapper from my .204 die set and put it in the lube die. So far it's been a nice, clean solution to lubing and removing spent primers.
