Shoot and scrub break in load

Post by Tom Kat »

Tonight I loaded up a dozen rounds to I could begin barrel break in. I went with 27.5 Gr Benchmark and some 32 gr Vmax bullets. I had the end of a can of Benchmark and a goodly amount of the v max so I thought it would be a place to start. Hopefull I can get after it this week and see what the new rifle will do :D

If you have some 35 gr. Berger bullets laying around, you might try some with that Benchmark. That's my custom build 204's favorite load.

I do have some 35 gr Bergers, thats my go to hunting load in my CZ527 American
204 (using 8208xbr) I just thought this would be a good way to use up my 32 gr V maxes I have laying around (they came with the first rifle)

Has anyone ever used the 39 gr Vmax for coyotes? What was your experience? I have a chance to aquire some. I have some of the 39 gr Sierra, but they have been hit and miss to buy.
