40 gr berger load data

Anybody out there got any good loads worked up on the 40 gr berger hpbt using varget, or h4895?

In my rifle 26.2 of H4895 works very well with the 40 Gr Berger.. It is not max, by Hodgdon's book, but close, so work up. Bill K

I have run 27.6grs of H4895 with the 40gr Berger in my CZ and accuracy was great. This is just about max in my rifle.

rugermk2--I don't shoot the 40 gr. Bergers and I know my 40 gr. V-Max bullet is way different than the 40 gr. Berger, but when I shoot the 40 gr. V-Max in my Savage 12VLP I use 27.2 gr. of H4895 and the Remington 7½ primers. I'm using WW brass in this rifle. The barrel is a 1 in 11 twist three groove Pac-Nor and is about 25 inches long. Muzzle velocity with this load is 3,841 fps.

I use 28.4grn Varget,COL=2.31".3750fps.Best group is 0.307MOA.
