Finally was able to get the first kills for the Cooper!

This one was taken at 270 yards

I had one more at 200 yards but I didn't get a chance to take a picture
Looks like it may be a good season!

Nice headshot there!! What bullet were you shooting? It did a nice job.

Nothing like the first kills with a new rifle. I've got to quit drooling over my new M21 and get it dialed-in. Are you shooting off of sticks, bipod, or ? If those are 32 gr. bullets, it looks like about the same amount of damage I've been getting with 40 gr. V-maxes @ those ranges (Rem. LVSF w/22" sporter-weight barrel.)

I was using factory 32 grain V-max and was shooting off of a fence post. Maybe with all this nice weather we're having I can start tryin my reloads out again!
