I think you would have trouble aquiring a switch barrel unless you had really good reason. And i also notice that the opinion of one police liason officer can different to another. Every thing we want to apply for needs a very very good reason.
With regards to the range, then its usualy about 100 yds at night under the lamp. Not often we shoot them in the day. AS i see it an oppertunity at a fox in the day is a very lucky oppertunity indeed !! :D
