The 39 grain Blitzking is my bullet of choice.....PERIOD!! have tried almost all of them and my VSF LOVES blitzkings either weight. With it's favorite loads, it will put 5 into less than 3/8" with great speed, what more do you need? The gun is a little fickle as far as powder likes and dislikes but as long as it is benchmark or RL-10X it is all good!! The load I have settled on for this winter is 25.5 grains of benchmark with the 39 grain BK 2.325" COL at 3840fps, should be lethal on dogs and bunnies!!

As far as surface splash, I have shot jacks at anywhere from 50 to 375 yards and all I am seeing is a tiny hole in and a good size hole out. Nothing is blowing up on contact in my experiences.

Hi, just a thought, has anybody tried James Calhoons 20 cal. bullets. Double HP in 33 & 39gr? I have the 39g on order, but it will be a while before they arrive and get put to use. :D Ken.
