6.5x47 lapua and range report

well as everyone knows i have been building a 6.5x 47 lapua. finally got some ammo but dont have a good scope but just coulding resist sending a few down range and doing a quick break in. i fired five groups four 3 shot groups and one 5 shot group all under .90 here is a updated pic of her and the two best groups measured center to center! ammo was lapua 123 gr. scenar factory loads!

Try some 140gr A-Max for long range work, very accurate bullet in my 6.5 Lapua.

Got my new scope just in time for deer season!
Savage model 10 centerfeed action,
CBI match 1-8" twist 26" stainless barrel in 6.5x47mm Lapua,
Stockys laminate stock,
Leupold mark 4 medium rings,
Vortex viper HS LR 4-16x44 scope

+1 for the Vortex Viper. I have a 6.5X20 on my heavy barrel 6.5 Lapua.
