i picked up my brand spanking new 637 yesterday. naturally i had to shoot her as soon as possible she is a real sweetheart and a really good shooter. shot some targets at about 10 to 12 yards and shot a 5 shot group that was real close to 1 1/2 inches, off hand, and single action, with my reloads, that i load for my model 19 S&W. i thought that was purty good for a revolver with a barrel length of less than 2 inches. next i shot with my laser sights on and double action. 5 shots into a 4 in circle at the same range. again off hand! the guy i was shooting with has the same gun he bought last year and has a lot more rounds and experience shooting the little gun, than myself, and is an excellent shot with a revolver. i was out shooting him, and he was a little upset, so we switched guns, and i still out shot him. overall we both had a really fun day just burnin up some ammo, and blowin the stuffin out of some over sized zuccini that a friend left for us to destroy

i was looking for some crimson trace grips, but price was too high in most of the catalogs i looked in. natchez had the best price, 229.00 but were on back order for at least a month, but they had the laser max in stock for 149.95. so thats what i ordered. the buddy i was shooting with has the crimson trace grips on his 637, and i think i like the grips on his gun a little better, because they are a little longer and fit my hand a little better. but the laser max are way brighter and inline with the bore. the crimson trace grips line up just below the cylinder.
