TC Encore with Bullberry 17 HMR

Post by SactoBill »

I finally was able to take my TC Encore with a 19 inch 17 HMR Bullberry out to our 300 yard range. The weather was perfect and when I got there hardly any wind.

I am by no means a good shot and just try to get out there to have some fun. The "gopher" was shot at 200 yards. The one with two sets of groups has my initial five shots centered but low. I then fiddled with the elevation knobs and by the time I was ready to shoot, the guy next to me whips out a super magnum type rifle. Don't what he was shooting but man it was loud! All fun though.

My TC really likes the CCI 17 grain V-Max. I wish I could get out there and nail some ground squirrels but I have to take what I can.

This is keeping me sane while I wait for my Cooper 38 in 20 VT and Ruger #1V in 204 to get out of jail. :D

With those three calibers you are all set for squirrels! Nice looking Encore. You are quite the single shot connoiseur!
