More 'features' than my old 'compact'. Ambi safety, novak style sights, flat checkered MS, long slotted trigger, extended slide release, checkered front strap, combat hammer and beavertail grip safety with speed bump, and lasered laminate grips. Neat little scaled-down 1911's......

Very sweet there, Don. You've amassed quite a nice 1911 collection alrighty. The little Browning 1911 is a real sweetie...scaled down "just right" for a .22LR. Now of course we expect some moribund critters posed next to the new pistol....... ;)

Hey RIO, not to get off the main subject, but I just seen your post here, and I was curious, as I watched on the news last nite, I found out about the fire up in Bend, OR. Hope you and yours are all doing OK!

Huntsman, Very nice rigs you got there! :D

All's well at the ranch Kevin, thanks. The fire is in the hills on the far side of town from me, we're okay, but friends have evac'd.

Sorry for the OT, Don.

EXCELLENT! I should 'wish' more, eh?

Looks like you and your new pistol have bonded quite well, thank you, and in a very short time. Good job! :D

(I'm convinced that new toys keep us young at heart.)

Always nice to see photo's and fine looking 1911-22. Also you stay safe Rick. Believe it will be a bad fire season your way and even down mine with this dry hot weather. Bill K
