May 4th 2019 PD's
My son with his Savage .223 bedded into a Boyds thumbhole stock with an Athlon Midas 4.5-27x50 scope shooting 60 gr Vmax and myself with my Savage model110 in .204 Ruger with 26" barrel in a Bell & Carlson varmint stock shooting 39 gr SBK topped with a Vortex strike eagle 6-24x50 scope went west river SD to shoot a dog town with little pressure, most shots were 250 on in. About 75 degrees light west winds & few litre ones were out too. Here's a gratuitous shot of our rifles & few dogs we picked up

Very nice looking outfits and of course the critters they used for training . Your son's looks like my Boyd's in 20 SCC. Bill K

A Howa 1500, that I had in 204R, which I had l. Sherm put a Xcaliber 3 groove, 1/11 twist barrel on and re-chambered to 20 SCC. It is a very accurate rifle set up like this.
I also have the original barrel that that I had Bob Green re-chamber to 20 SCC, with the set back and all on it, it is now a 18 in barrel. I may never use it again, and thought about selling it, but as of now it is setting with some of my other switch barrels, most of which are for my savage actions.
