Rick. I see a senseless murder/shooting occured at a school in your town. Good that a private citizen with a legal firearm heard and saw the shooter, with the shotgun, enter the school, followed him in and took him out, even though the shooter was only 16 yrs old. Very sad situation no matter how yo...

I agree with you on the term Untreated Cancer, that is exactly how they operate and spread. Hopefully this upcoming ballot in Oregon will fail, as I was told he has in the past, but time will tell. The whole world is falling apart now days and no one seems to be able to put a stop to it. A total dis...

Well Rick, a post to add something to the site, it is and has been so quite. And second to mention a news report, this morning I read about IP 28 again and the fruitcakes. They now have more than enough signatures to add it to the ballot again this year to attempt to put it into law. Oregon, Idaho a...

I know my little CZ 457 in 17 HMR is deadly out to around 200 yrds and a joy to shot on various critters. Even a few coyotes up to around 100 yrds with lung or head shots. And that is even with the Hornady 15.5 NTX I must use in this silly state now days.

I am sure, it is just there first step/attempt/nail, so to speak on this type of movement.

If that ever passed, it would snowball over into so many activities that many probably don't even think about. Plus the impact it would have on the economy and tax revenue the state/cities rely on. Totally dumb people now days and they seem to be spreading. I long for the good old USA and principles.

Hey Rick what's with this Petition 28 ? I read it is just short of 20,000 voters or something and if passed with stop all hunting, shooting and even fishing to protect all animals from being killed by people in Oregon. That would put an end to all sort of wildlife activities, if I read it right. The...

I am ready and looking forward to this years crop.

I think the same unless weather takes a dive in Feb/Mar and keeps them down longer. TIme will tell. And Thanks RIck for the photos, always enjoy your shutterbug shots.

Day before yesterday I saw a Rock Chuck out sunning on top of rock pile in a known location, but also where you just can not shoot. First time I have seen one out this in the year, I thought. But neat to see regardless, might be a sign of a good season approaching.

Thanks for sharing the photo. We enjoy photos of critters and weapons used in the outdoors.

Good catch. Have fun with it and let us know how it is doing/working for you. Maybe some grouping photos.

First welcome to the fold. Activity has been slow, but a punch of decent folks roam the site.
As for a complete upper, maybe, if you get not response here, check out Bear Creek Arsenal's uppers. Decent price and they do work well.

Thanks for sharing all the photos, we like photos. And that is a very nice trophy room/cave and good looking supply of other delightful items.

Be safe in travel, enjoy your time with family, for sure each and every one of you. Bill K

Me I am taking the daughter fishing in one of the higher mountain lakes, then back home for a nice meal..
