Accurate 2460 is very good in the 223 with 55 gr bullets. Shoots well in the 204 with the whole range of bullets from 32 -40 grains. Very close to BL-c2 on the burn rate chart.

My Ruger 77 V/T shoots 40 gr VMax bullets real well. 28 gr of IMR 4895, 205 Fed primers, Hornady brass. Killed about a bagillion pds with this load last June. Thanks, Loyd. I read your post , went to the gun room and pulled out my case trimmer. It worked just like you said, but the bit I used didn't have much taper to it, so I did one "better". I have the 17 cal. cutter for my Forster timmer and the pliot hole in it fit a .140 bit just perfectly...

I'm shooting 40 gr Ballistic tips, Winchester brass, 7 1/2 Rem br primers. 24.0 gr of H4198 cut the ragged hole. Went up to 24.2 and the group opened up just a bit; still a nice small group. As soon as I can get these loads over the chronograph, I'll post some muzzle velocities.
