Re: How about a 77 TG?

Holy smoke! I love that paint job buddy. Cool rig all the way around. The clamp on spotter, the husky yet portable bench, and the scissor jack rest. Super job of engineering. Makes me want to go prarrie rattin. I need to go do that some day. You did a super job on the Ruger. I was entertaini...

How about a 77 TG?

Hey all. I was looking over some rifles at the local gun and shooting emporium yesterday. Then I realized I never owned one of the Target Grey 77s yet. So, I handled one for oh, almost too long. I didn't make the purchase yet, but it was hard to put it back on the rack. How many of you fellers are u...

Re: Tikka T3 - Anyone shot one?

I picked one up this spring in the T3 Lite. It is a 22/250 and shoots quite well for a sporter weight pipe. I must be the only one that got a creepy trigger. It's OK but not fantastic. My favorite feature is the single stack clip. Reminds me of my old 788 Remington. I know it is plastic, but the thi...

Re: my first .204r - Ruger#1-V stainless

I've always been a #1 fan. Had one once in 6mm Remington. They are elegant rifles. I know they have their issues just like every other rifle, but they just feel "good" in my hands.

Mmm,mmm, mmm. Now that is a sharp looking rig. I bet it lives up to the Savage reputation for being a shooter too. Sweet!

Re: Have you noticed this too?

Glen,I hope you have better luck with the postal service than I did buddy. Long story short, They burried a registered leter I sent to GM about the piece of crap truck they sold me. Made it clear they didn't give a darn either. Good luck to you buddy. I really need a .204 :D

Re: Have you noticed this too?

I hear ya Glen. Spent the last week in Michigan working for the man. I really need to post up some calls soon. Daddy needs a new .204. I have a Christmas order to finish for a feller with an appreciation for fine box calls. 8) Then I want to get at the lathe and spin up some yote busters. Over time ...

No sustained fire here. Just PA Sod Dodgers. Maybe 3 shots in any kind of succession. Not misses mind you. Just multiple targets. ;). I never miss. I lie from time to time though. :lmao:. I'm getting pretty excited about the whole .204 thing. It is going to be a long summer.

Super input everyone. I appreciate it. I have to tell you the first thing that caught my eye with the CZ was the outward appearance of the rifle. It just looks "right" to me. The other feature I was taken with, was the detachable mag. I bought a Tikka this spring, for an upcoming coyote hu...

CZ 527 Varmint. Pros and Cons.

OK all you CZ owners. Lets hear the skinny on the 527 Varmint. Likes and dislikes. Quality, service, function. You know, the real poop. I only have room for one .204, should this be it?
