Re: Tack Driving CZ527 Varmint with photos

Nice shooting. Just out of curiosity why would you take the amazing factory single set trigger out and put a rifle basix in? The factory trigger in the set position has EXTREME overtravel. When I put my pull guage on the factory trigger in the un set position I found it to vary as much as 2 t...

Re: 34gn Nosler

Keep trying Redfox. Unfortunately, No offense to Nosler, those 34's have seldom been renowned for thier accuracy. Should be able to get better than 1moa though. Anyone know the American equivalent of AR2206H? As close as I could find its BLC2. Me thinks we have enough brothers from down under we sh...

Shell Holders

Who makes the best shell holder for the 204? I'm using a Lee and am tired of the sloppy fit. Thanks

Re: new remington 700 and 40 grain v max not grouping at 100 yds

The 40 V-Max can be really an iffy situation in 1-12 twist 204"s. I've owned 3 204's but just have one now. One of my rifles simply would not shoot these bullets at all-keyholed immediately. My other 2 rifles would shoot them but they definitely wouldn't be the most accurate bullet in the bunch...

Re: What flash hole deburrers/uniformers are available for .20?

K&M has a flash hole deburring tool that doesn't index off of the case mouth so you don't have to trim the cases to the same length before hand.https://www.kmshooting.com/catalog/flash-hole-uniformer-tools/flash-hole-uniformer_master-cal_19_20.html. I have it and the Sinclair tool. Here's a vid ...

Alliant Power Pro Powder

Has anyone tried this powder in their 204 yet?. I'm thinking the Varmint Power pro would be suitable in the 204 but Alliant doesn't seem to offer a lot of data and completely skips over the 20 cals. Has anyone played around with it yet? Thanks

Re: New VSSF, how much 10X?

I've just started playing around with R10X not long ago and my accuracy load with 39SBK's is 24.4 grns using Fed 205 primers. This isn't a max load but my groups do increase in size-so far anyway-as I increase the powder charge. You'll just have to play around with it in your rifle.

Re: Burris 8-32x Signature Select

While not the exact same scope,,, I bought a used Burris Black Diamond 8-32x (30mm) for use on my Remington 700 Tactical and called Burris... They gave me the Signature Rings and Inserts description for the application...I even got them at a little less cost than most retailers were asking... http:...

Re: Postal shoot cancelled.

I'm really sorry to hear this but I guess I'm not too surprised noticing how little response there was to the postal shoot thread. I just finished loading up some more rounds for it tonight. It was worth a try and you really did put together a challenging and fun contest. Something for everyone. Any...

No 39 SBK's aound here either. Checked 2 gun shops today and finally had to order some on-line. If you do get some 39's R10X works great with them.

Re: New bullet technology.

What if a sniper could fire a bullet that changed course in midflight, to hit its target? The Pentagon is handing out nearly $22 million to try to find out. Re: POSTAL SHOOT DETAILS - BEGINNING STAGES - **IDEAS WELCOME**

Excellent! Like the idea also BUT I would only be in for one class. Don't have access to anything more than 100 yards. Anyway you could add a 100 yd factory class or some other sort of 100 yard class? I think a lot of people might be limited to a 100 yd range. In some areas of this country people h...

I agree with the R10X and 39SBK's. It seems to be a winning combo. I've just started using the 2 together and so far am very pleased with the results
