Re: RIP Maggie

Sorry man. They are more than just dogs! Aren't they. We lost two last year. I was not too productive at work for 2 days. Those dogs would have given their lives for us in a heartbeat, especially my wife. That always made me feel more cormfortable about leaving.

Re: FREE RELOADING VIEDO (DVD)

The video is copyrighted. To copy it and charge for those copys, or distribute it in any way could result in legal problems and is not something I would discuss or admit to on a public forum. So.......the same philosophy often used in animal control may be the best appraoch. SSS-Shoot Shovel Say not...

Re: Ladder test interpretation?

Wow, thanks. Guess i did sort of mess that up. I was shooting a different powder and bullet before running my ladder test. In all of my reading I never came across that tip. Pre foul, sure, same powder makes sense.

Re: Ladder test interpretation?

Sorry, that is 100 yards, with .1 grain increments. Finding a place to shoot around here over 100 yards is a bit of a problem. Everything is kept constant.
Thanks.
Matt.

Ladder test interpretation?

I shot a 10 shot ladder test today. I used Benchmark and 35g Bergers. Rifle was a Savage Predator Hunter. The target did not really turn out as I had expected, but still not disappointing. How would you proceed? How would you interpret? I have my own ideas, let's see if we agree. http://i246.photobu...

Benchmark and Temperature

I was getting ready to start working up a load with Benchmark and 35 grain Bergers, and I was wondering how temperature sensitive Benchmark is? Is it in Hodgen's Extreme line that is supposed to be more temp. resilient? It will probably be 80 to 85 degrees when I am at the range, but probably half t...

Re: Help me choose a rifle in .204

I like the Sako, unless you want a rifle you don't have thow a fit over when it get scratched. What I mean is that I have rifles I can just go hunt with, then I have rifles I sometimes carefully hunt with on pretty days. I like the Savage for a tough, accurate hunting(etc...) rifle.

Re: VSSF II Update

Bummer. I know. I am going through a similar issue with a encore barrel that will not fire consistently. Only the shop I am dealing with does not want to have anything more to do with me. They got my money so it's my barrel and my problem. Guess they don't want any more of my money. Anyway I would c...

IMR 4320 in a 204?

My .17 Rem. loves 4320, and I see 223 loads for it, so....... why not in a .204 ruger? I don't see any data for it, or heard of anyone using it or trying it. Just wondering.
