That is one sharp looking setup. I am very envious of you!!!!! I bet it will shoot sweet just like all Coopers do. Congrat's on the new rig.

My choice would be Remington before the Savage. I would choose the Cooper if you could swing one though. They are my favorite guns at this time, but I know they are pricey too. Rudy

Re: first reloads/groups with my Cooper

It looks like you found a winner with Benchmark! Won't be long and those groundhogs will be out . The temps. are going to be in the 40's for next 10 days. Should melt the remaining white stuff we have left. Rudy

Popular powders include RL-10x and Benchmark. I am sure you will get lots of opinions, but these are two proven ones for sure. Rud

Re: 12 BTCSS Savage

Hi, I am sorry for your loss. I lost my dad on Veterans day and it was very tough to go through. Honoring your mom with a new gun seems like a great idea. I would go with the thumbhole stock, maybe just so it is something different from other guns you might have. Take care, Rudy.

Gube, seems you have the ultimate play gound for coyotes! I think many of us are jealous of the vast area you live in. Can't wait to see how many you get this year. I am liking that T3 lite, it is a killing machine!!! Keep the great stories coming. Rudy
