Re: harvested hogs and deer with superb results. 204 ruger
Chico I believe the thought that people are atempting to convey to you is this, sometime COMMON SENSE must prevail over any laws or regulations. When in the Prairie Dog pasture, I personally limit my shooting with my 17HMR to 125 yards, even though, I have read NUMEROUS post how this cartridge is ef...

I plan on going Elk hunting this fall. Do you think my 17 hmr is adequate, or should I use my 204?

22 HORNET
Is the 22 hornet a viable Prairie Dog gun? Already set up with 17 HMR and a couple of 204's, would this rifle serve a purpose in th pasture? Is there any demand for 22 Hornet brass?
Thanks in advance for your responses, ya'll are a GREAT BUNCH!

Re: Super accurate factory 204? Your opinions?
Guess your right, a rifle is a rifle, is a rifle. Sure hope my wife does not see this post, because if she does, she's gonna want a Maserati to replace the Hummer she now drives. Same nuts and bolts, a vehicle is a vehicle, is a vehicle. Can both be purchased straight from a dealer. Gonna be kinda h...

Re: Super accurate factory 204? Your opinions?
The first question to be answered is "what is a factory rifle". The title of the post is "NEED SUPER ACCURATE FACTORY 204". I think the Cooper must really be a very nice rifle, certinally appealing to the eye. BUT in my opinion, Coopers are not factory rifles, they are at least a...
