My son's Yote was pretty scrawny, but the AR 204, 40 NBT and Varget got it done
Head shot....

Re: CFE223 and Sierra BKs Out of Stock!
Is your favorite supplier the gun store in Victor, or the one over on 332 near Ontario mall? I got a chance to go down to Doug Turnbulls my last trip, headed back to Rochester Monday... I see it is warm.. Give Powder valley your money if you can, their prices are the best for everything I have purch...

Re: Forum rat rodeo
I could be wrong, but I was on my way up to Bonnieville dam 2 summers ago to catch and release oversized Sturgeon, and I found a squirrel hunt on Indian land down near Chiliquin or chimult and they mentioned not needing a hunting license due to the reservation, but maybe it was for Coyotes?

Re: Opinions M700
Yes, in MY experience you will see the radius of the primer where it makes a gap with the primer hole, start to get smaller, and pushing out a primer it will look mushroomed where it bulged out to fill the space . That of course is before seeing the indent pooch back out ( dent becomes less deep) an...

Re: My latest squirrel video
Excellent video's, thanks.
Making my trigger finger itch. Was that Alturas, Cedarville or elsewhere? They look to be even more plentiful than south of ALTURAS when we went in May.

Re: Opinions M700
As Ramos said, the current batch of Rem 700's have their firing pin hole in the boltface drilled oversized, has been an issue for quite some time. Fix is to have the bolt bushed, but won't be worth it IMHO. Scratches I see are from a strong ejector button and the shoulder/ neck dragging on the insid...

Re: Forum rat rodeo
Not sure how I missed this.
Oregon would be a fun trip for us, and give me time to finish filling in my arsenal..lol
I believe on Indian land, an Oregon license isn't needed, is one needed for private ranches?

Re: Thanks for the help
Nice group. Isn't it satisfying when you see bullet #2, then #3 all grouped like that in your scope. Did you buy this new, and did you try Coopers load first? I am about ready to ship a cooper back that I can't get to shoot to their standards and tried their load as well as other suggested loads. Al...

WTB-Case annealing machine
Looking to have to reform a bunch of brass, and after looking at all the annealers on the market the Giraud looks like the one I like over a rotating flange type. Looking to save some cash buying used, and would consider a rotating disc type if someone has one. Shoot me a PM if you have an annealer ...

Re: Turning 221 fireball brass into 17 fireball brass?
Jim I haven't received my 17 FB yet, but do have an AR in 17 rem that doesn't seem to foul worse than any other small cal guns like it's twin AR in 204. In about 3 weeks I will have time to do load development with brass already necked to 17 via the factory, but also have a bunch of 221 fb brass to ...

Re: Which Rifle would you pick?
If you are looking at a XR-100 in any caliber I wouldn't pay $1200, vs getting a cooper. I have one XR in 223, it is a nice, heavy package, and they were supposed to have been built by the custom shop if memory serves, but even with the 40x trigger adjusted to 1.5# at it's lightest, it isn't worth t...

Turning 221 fireball brass into 17 fireball brass?
I think most say it works ok, but curious if anyone has had problems turning 221 fireball into 17 fireball brass, for a Remington chambered rifle. I'll have the dies in a week and the gun in hand in 3 weeks, just looking to see if I need to find more 17 fireball brass or if I should be ok reforming ...
