Re: Got one down Saturday morning

She was a average size young blond of course, and I'm basing that on some recent pictures that I have seen of some dogs down by other hunters. I was just glad it was a female instead of a male :P . The sticks are home made from when I used to shoot BPCR with the Sharps and Rolling Bock rifles in 45-...

Got one down Saturday morning

Well I settled in before daylight just in the treeline of the upper pasture. I put myself in an area to watch both the clear cut that runs the power poles, and the pasture itself. I used my Johnny Stewart Howler and then the Controled Predator Call. Waited about 30 minutes for little miss blondie to...

That almost looks like an area just east of Beach, ND where I got family. Nice coyote there, and great pics.

I'll second the Chrony as well, as you can't go wrong with its portability etc.

Re: here puss puss

Awesome, back in the 70's when I was in the USAF, I used to go after our feral cats with a 22 WMR. Dang wonder what I would have done if I had a .204 back then

Re: 204 Ruger barrel sighted in and range report

Load development right out of the box! :D That's great. I think you're pretty well dialed in... I contacted the previous owner of this barrel, and he had shot it some. He said he shot his groups with a bipod instead of being rested in a rest like a Caldwell lead sled and obtain simalar groups but n...

204 Ruger barrel sighted in and range report

This 3 shot 100 yard group speaks for itself, as I used the 32-gr Hornady V Max factory loads for testing. The Handi Rifle was benched in a Caldwell lead sled for stable shooting.

This is the soul reason for my want of a Savage on my next go around for a bolt gun... accuracy and the price.
