37grn CRT bullets wanted

Long shot I Know, but if anyone has any 37 grain CRT bullets they are sitting on I'd like to get my hands on some.

Re: Remington 700 SPS Varmint 26" experiences

My 26" 700 with a heavy barrel really likes 39Gr BK's. I cut it to 23" and I like it much much more. I find its easier to carry and its balanced better. It shoots better than I do nw that I have it's load figured out. Following are at 100yd, 3 shots. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c7/ja...

The Quick measure looks interesting. I'm going to look further into that one. Thanks!

Re: Better powder dispenser

Ok, well at the risk of being theoreticized to death, I am going to confirm that I am aware of the difference between weight and volume. I am also going to confirm that .1 grain does in fact make a difference, you being the only person so far to suggest other wise. To each their own, I am glad it do...

Re: Better powder dispenser

I'm using a Lyman 1000 scale. Zero'd with the pan, it weighs in a 114.4 GR. I do not use it if it is zero'd at .3 or .5. I re zero until it is .4 Every time if required. I understand completely, and agree Darkker, However if one charge drops at 24.5 an then the next at 24.9, then I really doubt it's...

Re: Finally lucked out on a load.

I worked off of this...(see drawing) as well as a federal factory loaded round. But I find the SBK's OAL to be all over the map anyhow, so I settled at 2.265 (aiming for 2.26)Image

Re: Barrel twist for 39 gr Blitz King

I had better change of hitting paper by throwing the 40GN V-max bullet than shooting it. But the 39GN SBK is quickly proving itself to be extremely accurate in my 1:12 700. It has also taken a bit of testing to get to that point.

Re: Finally lucked out on a load.

I will as soon as i can. These groups were one after another, no rest in between. 10 shot box mag on my 700. So hopefully they stay together for 5.

I'm so happy. this is my first really good "Home made" load.

Finally lucked out on a load.

I went out last weekend to test out some loads for the 37gr CRT. No real luck yet, but they were initial loads so I have a starting point. But after they were gone I thought for shats I would just test out a couple loads I slapped together in the spring and never got around to testing. I was having ...

Re: Better powder dispenser

Thanks guys!

Unfortunately an electric isn't in the budget, and really I don't mind measuring each unit. It's just that this LEE dispenser seems to be all over the map.

Better powder dispenser

I'm using the LEE one that came with my kit. It is acturate about 80% ot the time. With a larger load it would not be a big deal, but with my 204, that .1 grain makes a big difference. I don't really trust it too much to do any bulk reloading, I'm finding myself loadfing .2 grain low and topping up ...
