Re: i think so hornady superformance, 204
Jim What kind of velocitys are you getting for your 243? I'm shooting 46.2 gr H414 with the bullet into the lands. I'm shooting a Hornady 75gr at 3550fps. It is a hot accurate load. My last coyote was at 423 yards. I love this load. Wasnt sure if I could generate much more with the Hybrid powder or ...

Re: Need some ideas
thanks for the info. Yes I'm going to have a gunsmith check it out and replace the barrel. The 25-06 would sound appealing. I'd be happy to ship the barrel to you if you would like. You can PM me your address etc. It will prob be a few wks till I would get it shipped. The barrel will be a great teac...

Need some ideas
I bought a Savage model 110 in 30-06 that has a split open barrel due to being shot with mud in the barrel. I paid 75 dollars for gun and scope. I obviously need to rebarrel it, but I have never had to rebarrel a gun yet, so I am a newbie. I am not looking to dump a lot of money into this gun--it'l ...

I am somewhat interested in your .243. What length barrel? 26"? The scope rings come with it? What part of this great Country are you from? If you happen to be close I'd come take a look.

Re: i think so hornady superformance, 204
I personally am excited about trying the new Superperformance powder. Yes I reload for accuracy, but if I can gain speed and keep my accuracy I will be all over it. I would like to use it for my .243 and see how it compares to H414. I load my .243 hot and if I can produce a load with about the same ...

Re: Loading 204 for ar 15
You can get an idea about neck tension by using calipers to measure the neck of a loaded round and then measuring at the exact same point on a neck sized round before a bullet is seated. Not the most accurate way in the world, but it will give you an idea. Fore example for a .204..........measures ....

Re: First time using dry lube
The dies that I was using are still almost new so dirt shouldn't be a problem, but I can check. I do clean the inside of the neck, however this is brandnew brass that I was neck sizing so no dirt there either. I'm using a Redding neck sizer, but it is not bushing style.

Re: AR15 Trigger solutions????
I've got a two stage Jewell in mine. I really like it......expensive but I'm happy. I hate trying to get by as cheap as possible because it seems that there is always something that I dont like with the cheap stuff and then I spend even more to get what I want. So this round I just bit the bullet an...

Re: First time using dry lube
Joe O I have not tried the case wax yet. Looking at the can I have no doubts it should work well. What I was having problems with was the dry neck lube. I could see that #9 shot may work better with the mica powder, but I'll probably just use hornady's lube for neck sizing. I'm glad I wasnt the only...

First time using dry lube
I bought some Imperial Dry Neck Lube after reading the outstanding reviews people are giving this product. I also bought Imperial Case wax. Does anyone happen to be using this product? I was not impressed by their dry neck lube and was wondering if im using the product wrong? I shook the can well be...

Re: Berger bullets for 6mmAI
I'm shooting .243 win. and have great luck with 75 grain Vmax. I like the BC of this bullet and it's got great long range capability. Puts the yotes down and out! I havent tried the bergers but compare bergers bc to the vmax if you want those long shots. Check out this site http://www.6mmbr.com/gunw...

Re: Loading 204 for ar 15
I've had better luck with no crimp in my AR. Just make sure you have enough neck tension otherwise you will have big problems. I would use no less than .002 neck tension but probably would not go any more than .003 which may be a little much..........at least this has been my experience. I've had go...

Re: WTB WTT 22/250 REMINGTON FL DIES
I have a brand new set of Hornady Custom Die set in 22-250 Remington. Still has the plastic wrapping on the box. It has a FL sizer and a bullet seater. I also have a Forster neck sizer, but I would be willing to sell the Hornady set by itself. Let me know if you are interested. $30 for the hornady d...
