Re: Leveling Scope to Rifle

Go on YouTube and look up how to square your scope by mrad outdoors.
It's the best method I ever used.

Re: How much neck tension you guys running?

I'm using Winchester brass and my fired necks measure .231 I then size them with a Redding .226 bushing which leaves them at .225 I then run them through my Sinclair mandrel which opens them up to .226. My loaded rounds measure .227 so it looks like I have only .001 neck tension. I'm wondering now i...

Accurate mag 223 magazine for 204

Does anyone know if the accurate mag 5 shot magazine will work with the 204 rounds.
I am thinking of buying one of the krg bravo stocks for my Remington action 204 but I need to know that I can get a 5 shot magazine that will work first.

Re: Twist in 204 Ruger

I have a 1/10 twist lothar walther on my 204.
It shoots everything from 32 grain to 50 grain accurately.
A 1/11 or 1/10 twist will be fine.

Re: Sako vixen 222Rem to 204 Ruger

Danne,,,,,,you look back in some of the threads,,,, or ask some of the heavies in here , ,,, there gonna tell you 1 - 10 is better than 1 - 12,,,,,,, check it out before you decide I chose the 1/10 twist because I wanted to shoot the 39 and 40 grain bullets. Some 1/12 twist barrels will shoot them ...

Re: Sako vixen 222Rem to 204 Ruger

I got the lothar walther 1/10 twist barrel for my 204.
It shoots bullets from 32 grain up to 50 grain accurately.
I use 39 grain Sierra most of the time.
Mine was also 26 inches but I got it cut back to 23.5 inches as I found it too long when using a moderator.

magpul hunter 700 stock

I'm thinking of buying a magpul hunter 700 stock for my semi custom remington 204.
I would also like the magazine kit and would like to know if there are any magazines available that would work with this stock and the 204 cartridge.

Re: Possum Hollow for 204

I use one for my 204. I use it with the power adapter and it works well. You will need to chamfer the case mouths after trimming though.

cutting back my 26inch barrel

My 204 has a 26in barrel. It also has a suppressor fitted which leaves it very long. I am thinking of getting the barrel cut back to 23 or 24 inches and getting a shorter suppressor but im worried about losing too much velocity. I know one guy who cut his ruger from 26 to 21 inches and lost about 27...

Re: Got My new barrel back

I also used my old brass that had been fired 6 times in my new custom barrel.
I full length sized it with a redding body die bumping the shoulder back to fit the new chamber and it worked fine.
I think setting back the shoulder for proper headspace is the key.

Re: fox bullet

I didnt recover them as it was at night and they made it into cover. It could of been poor shot placement because most of the time they drop on the spot.
I just wondered if anyone had a favourite bullet for fox shooting.

fox bullet

What bullet do you guys think is the best for foxes ?
Im using 39 grain sierras and they are quite good but I did have a couple of runners last season.
Im not concerned with hide damage, Im just looking for the best bullet to drop them on the spot.
