MTPaul: I believe 99% of the members on this forum would feel and agree with your comments.
As for exploring other cartridges, you should really add a 20 VT in to fit so nicely between the Hornet and the 204R. It is one fine shooting cartridge and you would fully enjoy it also. :)

Re: Members Lounge Rules

For me anyway, anymore the major news and what and how the libs are doing Rick, is nothing but a joke, however it is really hurting a lot of decent and lawful citizens in the old Republic.

Re: Members Lounge Rules

Hope all had a fine Easter and did whatever you enjoy on the day, with family making it the best.

It did surprise me however, that we made it through the day without a single April Fools Joke, unless I missed it/them. :D

Re: Guests for Breakfast

Interesting Rick how the areas we live in are so entertaining. We have a lot of those critters right in our area also. Cougars are trapped or killed every year in the cabin area and even close to a couple local schools. Bears, some coons, skunks, fox and coyotes are often seen right around my place ...

Re: Guests for Breakfast

Those critters in for treats/meals are like some I have up at my old place every day and night. Fun to watch and see, especially when the does start bringing in the new fawns. And the bucks growing the new set of antlers.. Thanks for sharing yours. :)

Re: Chucks

Had a nice thrill earlier this afternoon. Took the Jeep and then the Dodge down to fuel them up and there are three rock outcroppings I always check out for rock chucks. Well two of the three had one to two chucks out sunning themselves, so the is a good sign for my area. However these rock areas ar...

Re: Help with my Contender

That TC looks very nice and should be shooting well.

However with what the original poster asked about his, after the years gone by, I wonder if Surfcitydude found his twist was wrong for the 40 gn bullet and corrected his problem ? :D

Re: bench rests

You might take a look at the MGM cradle style. They don't work like the Lead sleds, as your shoulder is still the contact point with the rifle butt.
They can also be used with a handgun, when shooting either off a bench. And they are priced very decent. :)
