Re: First trip to the range with my 204.

Man you don't log in here in awhile and you come back and find new riffraff hanging around.... Ouch, getting called riff-raff from you really hurts..... :eew: Planning to try some benchmark and RL-10x yet. Need to slide on over to Graf's to pick some up. But, so far I am quite happy with my rifle. ...

Re: A few Missouri Deer from the last 5 seasons.

Well, I was lucky enough to buy my place, before it got too expensive.... It' ain't big, just short of 60 acres.... But, it's in a good spot.... Deer just keep getting bigger and better since antler restrictions went in. That is why I was upset with the buck I killed this year, if not for the fact I...

Re: Ruger m77 MKII - thoughts, performance

Well, I am the friend that Big Bullseye is talking about, and I just got back from the range a while ago.... Tried out some of my handloads..... this is one of my better 5 shot groups at 100 yds off my cheap rest and bag...... 10-15 mile wind coming from my 4-O'clock..... http://i156.photobucket.com...

First trip to the range with my 204.

Finally got a chance to go try out some of my handloads for my new Ruger KM77VT in .204 Ruger. I really like the trigger on this gun. Ya, there are maybe some better ones out there, but I kinda like this one.... :D Rifle at the range http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t15/callaojoe/204%20Ruger/Ruger...

Re: A few Missouri Deer from the last 5 seasons.

Why dog my cats! I never knew they had bucks in those Misery Hardwoods, reckon I best put my glasses on next time I go hunting. One or two anyway, nothing like Iowa, where there is a booner behind every tree from what I hear.... The buck I killed this year fooled me, thought he was a ...

A few Missouri Deer from the last 5 seasons.

Just a few of the deer I have had the good fortune to take or be with my sons while they shot, in the last couple of years. Re: New to the .204 Ruger.

That Scope is a 4x16x50 Nikon Monarch. I had it on my Cooper, but have decided I want something like a 4.5x14x40 or 50 Leupold VX-3 for it. So, figured that the Nikon would make a good scope for this .204. That group I posted is not from my .204, but my Remington 700 Mountain LSS in .260 Remington. ...

Re: New to the .204 Ruger.

Some day I hope to shoot one of those....

My biggest problem with buying a Savage at this point, is never hearing the end of it from Leo......:D

I've owned them in the past, and would again... But, may be stealthy about it.

Hey Glen... I'll keep my Coopers & Remmy's.... Just don't make me buy a Savage. :D

Although.....

MO Firearms CO had a couple a 17 HMR Savages that had my eye, don't tell Leo over on MWT.

New to the .204 Ruger.

Just picked up my first .204 Ruger on Saturday, and I am really looking forward to getting started with it. This is my first post, and thought I'd say hello. Rifle is a Ruger MK77VT in .204 Ruger. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t15/callaojoe/204Ruger_3688.jpg I have heard some mixed reviews, alt...
