Power pro varmint 27.1 gr, 39bk , rem 7 1/2 br primers , nosler brass, length to oge 1.932 100 yds .222 5 shot group . 400 yds 1.212 5 shot group ( both groups where shot off of a plastic picnic table) I am sure they will tighten up some on a solid bench. http://i1313.photobucket.com/albums/t551/HAR...

Also try Sinclair I have 1000 on there way but they been on back order since April.

Also groups should get smaller i was shooting off of a folding plastic picnic table so I had more movement then I would from a sturdy bench.

Went to range today I think I found my fav load for power pro varmint!!!! At 400 yds I got a 1.212 in group!!!! I don't know about other shooters but I am very pleased!!!! I was shooting 27.1 grns ,nosler brass , rem 7 1/2 br, and 39bks. With over length to the oge at 1.932... Pics to follow

Thanks for the info I was thinking of an outfitter then once out there (before or after the hunt ) start asking around for places to hunt for the up coming weeks and year. I just didn't know if someone has used an outfitter or could recommend one. I am sure there are good and bad outfitters out there.

P dog hunt for me and wife's grandfather

Looking for a place to go p dog hunting for me and my wife's grandfather. I live and Virginia and him in Ohio so I know we will have to travel I would like some suggestions some place that's not to expensive for a stay and have plenty of p dogs.

Went back to range today with different seating depth using 27.1 and 27.6 and my groups got wider!!!! My bolt was sticky so I measured my brass witch is nosler with about 6 firings I found different lengths so I need to trim. And I also ordered a fosrster neck bump die with bushings I hope this will...

How far off the riffling are your loads if they are to close you could be getting pressure build up and that could be your problem. Just a thought.
