Rick..........I checked my powders...........I have 2400 and WW 231 and WW 630 which have pistol and rifle powder on the can. Ruger 77/44
Anyone have a good start load for this rifle? A friend droped off a Ruger 77/44. He would like a good bear/deer load. He droped off empty brass, but I don't what would be a good powder for a 44mag in a rifle.

Update....338 lupa imp
Just received my LimP#2 reamer from GJS Tools. This is a 35* with most of the taper removed from the factory 338 lupa. The hart barrel and A-5 McMillan stock should be here this month (June)....................lets hop all goes well.

Gunmedic. When I took my forend off to adj the ejector spring. I noticed that for end nut is a friction nut. So when the forend is snug and in place this were I leave the screw.
