Gunmedic Good luck with your #1 . I have one that likes H4895 /27.0/40 Berger setting at an oal 2.325. This will do .3 to .5 for 5 shots at 100 yards if I do my part. The factory barrel takes a few rounds to break in. Mine had between 75 to 100 before she started to tighten up. Hope this helps P.S. ...

McMillian Stocks??

I"m going to try a mcmillian stock on my M-995 sako action. The M-995 has detachable box magazine, but I'm going to make this a single shot. Any ideas or in put on such a job. I'm looking at the A-5 or A-4 stock from mcmillian.
Thanks and I'm sure any in put would be helpful!

:D SKB 2706 thanks for the input. It was only one box of factory loaded hornady. I have shot other factory boxes of hornady and reloaded with no problem other than tight primer pockets. This was discussed earlier on in a post that I read.
Thanks again and later

I' ve been using winchester brass in a custom chamber. I've not been aneeling my brass. Got 4 times around on my 1st 100 peeces and lost 5 pieces that split between the shoulder and neck. I'd say it could be both working harding and bad brass. primer pockets are still tight so were good to go for 5 ...
