Re: .204 AR Magazines?

Is it a problem of the bolt not closing? Or rounds not feeding at all?

Re: Does Accurate still make 3100 powder

On further research. I talked to a tech at accurate and he said that there was a problem with a run of 3100 and they shelved production until it could be fixed? Hope they make it again some sunny day. Probably won't be the same though.

Re: Does Accurate still make 3100 powder

Thanks Bill. I got hold of accurate and they said that 3100 has not been replaced. Mag pro burns at a slower rate and gives better velocity though. I still can't find any 3100 though. Even on their website. So I guess I will have to search again for the right powder. My father in law set me up with ...

Does Accurate still make 3100 powder

Has anyone else had a hard time finding AA-3100, MR-3100 Or XMR-3100? I have checked midway and midsouth. Do they even make it anymore? I am down to about 1 1/2 pounds for my 300 WM. Thanks

Re: Why boat tail or flat base?

+1. Also flat base fills the barrel so gases aren't trying to escape around the bullet like they do on boat tails. Might just be me though.

Re: 32 v-max for coyotes

Depending on if you need a license where you are I say shoot it! Here as they should be every where they are a varmint and require no paper work to eliminate from their respective gene pools. And a tracking collar would be quite the conversation piece hanging on the wall.

Re: CCI 450 Mag Primers

I have used cci 400 in my ar for two years now and have never yet even suspected a pierced primer. 32gr. Hornady at 22 gr. Of imr 4198. 34 gr. At 22 gr. Also. I've tried both 400 and 450. Could'my tell much difference.

Re: Midway USA DogTown 34 Grain Bullets

Got some varmint nightmares and could not be happier with them. They shoot under an inch at 100 yards. And just about an inch at 200.21.5 gr. Of 4198.

Re: Case necks nicked

I tried a 20 round mag that was retro fit for 5 rounds..204 rounds go in poorly and at the slightest bump all accordion out. But .223 rounds work very nice. I stuck with my metal 20 rd. Mag.

Re: AR Reliability

I too had cycling issues. My problem turned out to be not enough oil and too low of a load. Lee suggested 21.0 of imr 4198. As soon as I got up to 22.0 gr. Not one malfunction since.

Re: Changing Powder

Thats a definite maybe. I have found that usually it doesn't change much. But depending on whether you go hotter or not would make the most difference. What are you going to? And from?
