Re: Great hunt

That looks like pure fun! My brother and SiL spent a few days with us last week and left the far side of my backyard looking a lot like your picture. Now I can't go out and feed the chickens without gagging from the stink. Time to find the shovel.

Re: Wilson barrel quality?

Cooper recently replaced a barrel for me with a Wilson and it shoots as good as hoped it would. But before replacing the barrel they told me they wanted to check it out and make sure it needed a barrel and was not a damaged crown or something that could be repaired which I appreciated. By the way, I...

Re: Which caliber?

Yes, she is a Jack Russell Terrier. There must be something about JRTs being named Lucy. I have a friend in Oklahoma with a JRT named Lucy. We had Beagles for year but once we got a Jack Russell we never looked back. Whenever she does anything we say "ain't no Beagle" which doesn't mean an...

Re: Which caliber?

Here's my normal perimeter defense, Lucy, but the squirrels call her Lucifer. http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/a481/sandforc/tick_zps8xy9ae28.jpg She gets banned to the pickup when the shooting starts. The wife was keeping us safe with her 9mm but she's shooting the squirrel guns now so it's just...

Which caliber?

For baby squirrels, would you guys pick the 17FB or a 17AH? Because they tend to wander around our feet at the squirrel patch and you can reach down while seated at the bench and pick them up on occasion, I'm leaning towards a 15-18 grain spit wad and a smooth bore soda straw to reduce fur damage :D...

Re: Survivors Guide to Lack of Skippy (LOS)

Holy cow!!! You're in worse shape than I thought. Just close your eyes, click your boot heels together and repeat the following. "There's no place like the grassy knoll" "There's no place like the grassy knoll" In thirty short days or so you will open your eyes and skippy will be...

BIG air and good hang time on that little bugger! Your little Fireball gets it done. Would you care to share some details on the video camera, lens, etc.?

Thanks for sharing.

A quick way to change the text size is hold the "Ctrl" key and scroll the wheel on your mouse or press the "+" key to enlarge or "-" key to decrease.

Re: Opening day fun in No. Cali. Front page news?

They are out in good numbers here in Idaho too. I've been shooting them with the airgun around the house. I bought my wife a brand new shiny BR Pivot and all the bling (front and rear rest) this winter so I guess it's time to set it up and let her start breaking it in.
