Re: CMMG 204 Uppers

If I am not mistaken, the only FFL registered part on an AR is the lower receiver. So any upper, whether it be a kit or fully assembled, would not need FFL registration. I am no lawyer, check the laws that apply to you. 7th Corps the most lethal/powerful land military formation in history, that also...

Re: Factory chamber in 20VT

Best info I can find for Cascade Arms is here: http://www.cascadearmsco.com/brands.html This physical location has been the site of at least 3 different retail gun FFL dealers. Been in and did business with 2 of them. However, never did business with the current owner. I don't know if this is the ma...

Re: DPMS 204 question

Not sure if this is your problem. My experience is that to much oil will attract carbon, sand, etc resulting in feeding/jamming problems on the BCG. Too little oil will heat up everything where everything expands, resulting in feeding jamming problems when tolerances are tight. Variables include tol...

Have a Ruger 10/22 all weather model. 30,000+ rounds through it. Heated up the barrel to where I had to put it down, action open of course.
Shoot 1/2 MOA 3 round groups offhand/prone, at 50 yds, cheap $30 red dot sight.
Should I replace the barrel?

Re: 204 magazine options

I don't know if this is your problem. On any semi auto with a detachable magazine you have to make sure the mag pushes up all rounds properly after the round on top is stripped off. If this is not happening, it will explain feeding/jamming problems. Some ways to do this is using a Lula type loader w...

Re: mods

You are correct there, probably Holder will use the money for more "Fast and Furious"programs. His last run at it, had a somewhat fail rate, maybe he can do better next time..

Thanks, Bill K. If I had my choice, Holder would not have any "official" capacity... :D

If I am not mistaken, the $200 goes the the BATFE, or more commonly known as the ATF.

Re: im buying a new gun help!!!!

I did not anticipate the firestorm that my post would create. I also learned that the Dan Cooper issue has been beaten to death. I worded my comment wrong, in the wrong topic. My concern is more about the Fast n Furious gun running and 2nd Amendment Rights. Moreover, all of our Rights and Freedoms. ...

Re: im buying a new gun help!!!!

I prefer manufacturers that have not supported an administration that tries to hide illegal gun running, and attacks on the 2nd Amendment. Do your own research. With all due respect, I'd encourage you to do the same. One man, for whatever reason, chose to donate some of his personal funds to the Ob...

Re: Help...204 issues

tonyb, Just a couple FYI's for ya: 1) My bolt gun needed about 20 rounds down the tube after a shiny bore cleaning before it would group (JB bore paste). After that, it would place everything in 0.5" (I shoot bipod in front, bag in back) often 0.3". I've experimented a lot with that rifle...

Re: 204 magazine options

I have a Bushy .204 and the 5 round mag that came with it is marked .204, and has worked flawlessly with 32g and 40gr factory Vmax. Tried a PMAG marked 5.56x45 30 rd mag using a LULA loader and when loading (forget the number of rounds) and made a severe dent in the case. Called Magpul and was told ...
