My favorite primer is the CCI BR-4. I don't know if it will get the Dogtown bullets to shoot though. Good Luck.

I don't know guys, my XR-100 is a real shooter. I haven't done anything to it since I bought it. I've had pretty good luck with Remingtons for a long time. From everything I've heard over the last year I will have to admit that I would probably consider a Savage.

Custom Bushing Neck Sizing Die

I don't like the idea of a Full Length Bushing Neck Sizing Die. I just want to size the neck and not the case. After I fire form my cases to fit my chamber I don't even want to partially size them. I have yet to find a .204 bushing die that will size the neck without disturbing the case so I made on...

kirbymagnum Sorry, I've never used that particular die before. Read the instructions to see if you need to full length size before you use the bushing die. The instructions that came with my RCBS Bushing Sizing die said that the bushings need to go in with the writing facing right side up so there ...

When you buy something you should expect it to perform as advertised. If you take delivery of something and it doesn't work reasonably well, you should contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer should make it right or you should expect a refund. Consumers are protected in this country by law. There...

I've been wanting to spring for the K&M arbor press. Which arbor press did you buy? Can you give us a little review of the one you bought. Was it worth the investment?

terrance250 That .228 bushing sounds pretty big. You might want a little more neck tension. I would opt for the .226 bushing. I've sized with the .228 bushing before when loading for my XR-100 and the bullets fell into the case. More neck tension did reduce my Extreme Spread. I neck turn my brass t...

Even if you primarily hunt varmints, sooner or later you are going to do some serious load development. When you hit the range you will want a good set of matched brass to work with. How will you ever find the right load if you just throw some rounds together?

Thanks, guys. Shooting those groups was nerve racking enough. I can just imagine the pressure of trying to do that during a match with everyone watching over my shoulder.

I've never seen Viht 135 where I buy powder. I'll look into it, though.

That's five shots per group. On the first one I had a hard time pulling the trigger on the last shot. Ever been there?
