Re: Coyotes

Your right Bill. Driving at night, I use to see lots of rabbits, mice, kangaroo rats and lots of other prey creatures. Now I see almost nothing run across the road at night. There is nothing out there for them to eat.

Re: Coyotes

Same with me. I spent 3 days calling in norther Nevada and did not call a coyote. There was not even any sigh of coyotes in the area that usually have lots of coyotes. And believe me, I leave lots for seed ;)

Re: pulling bullets

I have tried a few different pullers and have found that the Hornady works best for me. I don't use a lot of neck tension so they come out real easy without marring the bullet. Most of the small varmint bullets that we use are so soft that they cant take much pressure without distorting them. If the...

Re: Where are the Environmentalist when you need them.

I totally agree varmint shooter. Not only do they destroy crops but their mounds tear the heck out of farm equipment and create excessive dust in bales of hay which lowers its value. I would do the same if I had the problem. My wife got tired of hearing me whine so thought I would whine to you guys....

Where are the Environmentalist when you need them.

This year started out looking like a good squirrel year. They were out early. BUT, if it wasn’t snowing, it was raining , if it wasn’t raining , the wind was blowing 30 mph and if the wind wasn’t blowing , it was snowing again. I did manage to get out for a couple hours 3 times in the past month . N...

Hi Kevin, Glad to hear you made it home and are on the mend. I’m not a therapist but I think I can help you out with a little “finger “therapy when Skippy comes out. Hope we can spend more time together this spring in the rat patch. I’ll be looking forward to it. Dan

Re: Tikka t3 varmint vs remy 700 sps .204

Welcome to the forum. You will never run into a finer and more knowledgeable bunch of guys. A word of caution. This forum is awfully hard on the check book. I have a rem 700 sps varmint in 204. Second most accurate rifle that I own . It will shoot in the 2’s and 3’s all day with good loads. I...
