Re: My new toy!

Most of what I have read has come off the internet so you have to take it with a grain of salt. On of the main reviews I read (I can't remember which magazine it was for) stated that he put the Creedmoor ahead simply based of the fact that the Hornady brass was better than the brass that was availab...

Re: Tikka T3 Varmint to Custom

I will leave the barrel recommendations up to others, but if I were to recommend a stock it would be a GRS. I have a Decima Sportster and love it.

Re: My new toy!

Looks like a serious tack driver with a lot of fun times ahead. But of all the 6.5 calibers, why a 6.5 Creedmoor; just curious. Its a good question. Mostly because I have played around with one before and really liked it. The Norma 6.5 looks like it would be a little harder on barrels. I have no re...

Re: My new toy!

Its a 26" barrel from a barrel maker in Saskatchewan. 1-8 Twist. The Remington 700 action was totally worked over. The barrel is glass bedded in the GRS stock. I love the stock! Its got a Vortex Viper PST 6x24x50. I'm still waiting for my die's for it. I sighted it in on factory ammo. My final ...

Merry Christmas

Nice! My .308 likes CFE223, but my .204 hates it.

Re: Berger 35gr. and H322~help!

35gr bergers shoot the best of any bullet in my Tikka. I am using Benchmark powder though. Nice one hole five shot groups. The H322 has worked well for me with 26gr Barnes.

My Tikka likes them with 27.5 grs of H322 with winchester brass.
