As far as reloading being cheap?Maybe way back when I first got started, but $125.000.00 for a reloading and gun-trophy room addition ain't cheap! Whoa...you would have to shoot A LOT to recoup that investment. Love your screen name..... prairie dog at 400 yards.....BOOM WHOP Somersault!!!! Y...

Forgot about the Nikko scope - it is on the way back to the distributor - WITH several targets.

I REALLY like the scope. Excellent clarity, good eye relief, etc, etc.

I would dearly love to send a bill for the bullets and powder.

I hope you put a new scope on your rifle! It's a shame that after your one man crusade for Niko Sterling scopes and 300 rounds of wasted ammo the scope turns out to be a piece of junk! Better luck this time! Scope was not on this rifle, originally....but a Handi in 204. But, I purchased the S...

Will load some 39 gr Sierra BK's and 40 gr VMax's tomorrow.

MIGHT make a range trip tomorrow...if the weather is nicer.

Kim204 - 0.010" off the lands. The COAL is ...well....L-O-N-G!

Note - not all of the bullets will reach the lands, so, there is some seated a bit off the lands. I will post all of the specific info at a later date.

Forgot to add, loaded round bullet runout is under 0.001 with Forster dies.

Yep...I knew that. Hence the "LOL" at the end. I thought that was darn funny. My sarcasm was just trying to lighten the mood. Alas, I only have teenagers at home. According to them, at 41, I am all washed up. Besides being STUPID (I see that look in their eyes when looking at me), to wonde...

The light bulb finally went on. You are just joking about all this stuff. If you were not, you could be winning bench rest matches with a factory rifle, shooting elephants with a .22, and cllmbing Mt. Everest in shorts and sandals while drinking a 6 pack and smoking cigarrets . I'm actually startin...

Place your bets - 200 rnds, 8 pow, 7 bull - COMPLETED!!!!!

Place your bets on what will be the most accurate bullet/powder at the fastest speed. I want accuracy with a fair amount of bullet speed out of the 204. All loads being worked up in 0.1 grain increments. Rifle is a Savage 12FV (bull barrel, 26" barrel, 1:12 twist). Brass - new. Primer - CCI 450...

Acloco , Right you are. I just wish I could get that in something decent without the 50mm objective. I have seriously considered and am still thinking about getting a 36x fixed for load development. Shooting groups at 200 with 20x for me is not good. My eyes just don't cut it. I have two....both BS...

Paper is THE hardest critter!

Need to go up in magnification. Like 6-24, but prefer 8-32...and mil dots.

I am thinking at least semi auto and a 30 round clip...in an AR platform.

If anybody has not FULLY seen what a mountain lion can do....people would not go into the woods. I says this with utmost sincerity.

My house cat...16 pounds of tiger striped hair....can EASILY jump 5 feet up, flatfooted.
