Re: Savage FV M12 & Berger HP's

I did buy the Score-High Bench Rest Single Shot Follower for my savage but it does NOT fit since my blind magazine is center feed . So I had to create my own with a piece of 2x4. http://i.imgur.com/H5mIX7w.jpg?1 http://i.imgur.com/eqoEM6X.jpg?1 http://i.imgur.com/6KpqWQO.jpg?1 Full Album here: http:...

Re: Savage FV M12 & Berger HP's

My Savage does the same thing with all HPs! So I ended up removing the blind magazine and converted it into a single shot with a piece of wood. Now I can just throw in any bullet and it will feed it just fine.

Predator Decoy

What predator decoy do you guys recommend? Currently i'm looking at the Mojo Critter and Foxpro's Black Jack. Which one is better?

Thanks!

Re: 35 Bergers

I seen on another sight that someone asked Berger and they said they were going to tool up and run more in January. Whether that's true or not is unknown, Midway still shows them on their page as out of stock, no back order Yea, that was my post on other forum. I emailed Berger about them and this ...

Re: New .204 Owner

I'm not sure if they are made anymore. I still have a few, I use them as barrel fouling pills. When I started out with just 1 204 I wanted a bullet that would do just about everything and I found that the 39 SBK was the ticket. It shot better, flew straighter and hit harder than all the others at t...

Re: New .204 Owner

I am also a new .204 owner and it's my first center fire rifle! Thanks for the great post, Jim! I tried 32gr vmax with H4895 and the results were excellent. I just placed an order for 39 Sierra Ballistic Kings and I can't wait to see the results. I would love to try Berger 35gr bullets but I can't f...

Re: Savage & hollow point non tipped problem

Ok! I'm glad to hear that others are having the same issue. I think i'm going to file a little bit off of the front ramp. I'm afraid to remove the stock since it's a new rifle and it shoots amazing.. lol

Thanks for the help!

Savage & hollow point non tipped problem

Hello All! I was wondering if anyone else is having this issue with their Savage rifles. My rifle is a Savage model 12 FLV in 204. I just tried some 32gr Varmageddon FBHP and I can't get them to feed right from my blind magazine. The bullet tip keeps hitting the lower right of back of the barrel whe...
