Shooter's Proshop Nosler 34gr 204 Blems On Sale

I have used these in my CZ 527 Varmint with BLC2 and they shoot pretty darn good. Midway sells them as their Dogtown brand and Midsouth sells them as Varmint Nightmare. I haven't shot any critters with them yet but they are extremely explosive when the hit something. Not bad $9.95 for 100 Robert htt...

Re: New CZ 527 Varmint, mini range report

Nice! I own the same rifle. Give it a few rounds down the pipe and it will really settle down. Mine seems to like the 40gr V-Max or the Sierra 39gr BK with BLC2.

Re: TC Venture owners

Just got my 243 Venture yesterday. First impressions are good. Seems like a well built solid gun! Action screws and scope base screws were not tight. No big deal as I check that with every new rifle. I put an EGW Picatinny rail on it using blue Loctite. Scope is a Vortex Viper HS 4-16x44mm. This rif...

Savagebolt,
This was the only review I found on the Compass in 204 Ruger. Wish there was more info on the accuracy in it.

TC Compass in 204 Ruger

I see TC is chambering their new Compass bolt action in 204 Ruger. A look on the internet showed that nobody has any in stock. Very little in the way of reviews for the Compass in 204 Ruger as well. I did see a video on YouTube where a guy tested one in 308 that shot well. I'll admit it's not going ...

I would love to try the 39gr Blitzkings. Only problem is I haven't been able to find them anywhere online. Midway expects them to come in some time in July. Nothing on Gunbroker either.

Too bad all newspapers aren't "with it" like that one. If they were, then maybe they wouldn't be on the verge of folding like most of the dinosaur bird cage liners that 99% of them are. I'm not saying, but I'm just saying.

Re: Love My CZ 527 Varmint 204!

I haven't had the chance to try too many other bullets other than 32gr, 40gr, V-Max, & 34gr Dog Town HP's so far. Haven't seen too much of a difference in any of them really. They are all insanely accurate. It's nice to be on this end of a rifle that isn't finicky. Lord knows I have been on the ...

Love My CZ 527 Varmint 204!

I was at the range a couple of weeks ago with my CZ 527 Varmint 204 Ruger. I recently picked up some prairie dog and crow Shoot N See targets. I only had about 100 rounds down the pipe of this rifle at this point. It shoots more accurately every time I take it out now. I have owned many rifles, but ...

Re: give me some vortex info

I'm currently running a Vortex Crossfire II 6-18x44mm with a dead hold BDC on my CZ 204 Ruger 527 Varmint. Decent scope. Not in the class of the Viper, but more than adiquate for the shooting that I do. When I can afford it I plan on updating to a Viper. This is the first Vortex scope I have owned a...

I really like the Wipe Out. Some times I have had to do a couple of treatments, but it does a great job without stinking up the joint.
