Previous model Leupold

Does anyone know where I can find the specifications for previous model Leupold scopes? Is there a place on the web site that gives this information?

Re: Sierra 39 Blitz King

The 204 Ruger is a Howa 1500 with a factory 12 twist varmint weight barrel. It has had several hundred rounds through it but should not be shot out. I have loaded some Nosler 40 BT, just to see how they behave, but have not had time to shoot them.

Re: Sierra 39 Blitz King

I gave the 204 a thorough cleaning last night and went back to the range today. I shot three loads--Hornady 32 ZMAX shot a group less than 1 inch, the Nosler Varmageddon 32 gr hollow point the same as the ZMAX, with the Sierra 39 BK only 2 of 5 made it to the target and impact was about 2 inches apa...

Sierra 39 Blitz King

Today I went to the range with some 204 Ruger handloads with 25.2 gr of RL10X, CCI450 primer, Win cases, and Sierra 39BK bullets. I had several groups of 5 where only 3 made it to the target. On one shot I saw a grey cloud about 10 yards out of the muzzle. Has anyone else had trouble with these bull...

Re: Ventures in the rat patch

Varmint Shooter, I have that Caldwell bench and would like to install a better top on it. I really like the looks of the one in your photo. Could you post a top view photo with the dimensions. If so it would be greatly appreciate. If you prefer you can send me a PM.
Thanks, pre64win

Re: Which trigger

Take a look at Trigger Tech triggers. I am hearing lots of good reports on them. New technology with clean breaks and almost no over travel.

Does ring spacing have any effect on click value

When mounting a scope does changing the spacing between the mounts change the distance the point of impact moves for each click or graduation on the turret?

Which cleaning rod?

Which type cleaning rod do you prefer and why? I have been using Dewey coated rods but in my 204 the coating quickly wears of the end of the rod, I use a bore guide so it should be centered. Does any one use a polished stainless rod and how do you like it? What about Tipton carbon fiber rods?

Re: 270win powder and bullet combo

You are spot on. This was Jack O'Conner's classic 270 load. He used more 4831 than any modern manual shows and killed tons of game with that load. I shoot two 270 Win rifles and have one shot kills on elk, mule deer(330 yards), pronghorn, whitetail and hogs. All one shot kills and most fell within 5...

I have just got a 20 Practical and would like to try loading with CFE223. Does any one have experience with this combination with 32 and39 grain bullets?

I sent for a target on May 20, but have not received one yet. Did I do something wrong?
