Bill...I'm so sorry to see that your wife has passed. I'm not sure how I missed your post. Rest assured your wife is in a better place and looking down on your activities. My sincere condolences!!

I'm still alive & well and occasionally lurking here. I just haven't been in the mode of posting much on any site!

Skipper, great to see that you got the grands out for a dove hunt! If our sport (passion) is going to survive we need to show the youngsters the enjoyment, not to mention that we can provide quality food for our families. You also have a great looking retriever there!

Okay, Good deal on the coyotes. I also chase them, just about year round by either spot/stalk or calling them in. Enjoyable and taking them out or controlling numbers helps save a lot of other young wildlife. :D coyote with CZ - Copy.jpg Nice looking yoties you're holding there Bill! The terrain up...

With the near constant rain in our neck of the woods, it's been really difficult to get out & about in the field. When it's not raining it's been so darned hot that the inside of the ranch is the logical place to bee. But hey, it's Wisconsin, if I don't like the weather I just need to wait aroun...

Hi Bill, I didn't waste the ammunition shooting at the rat on the bottom of the target. I'm saving the rounds for taking care of some coyotes "terrorizing" our neighbors in the north woods.

Congratulations to both Bill & SecretCode!! I absolutely agree with Skipper's finding Bill as the "top dog" for this year's competition! SecretCode, your grouping is really close to Bills, and as I said previously, my group is a distant 3rd. It's been almost 2 years since I've shot my ...

Gentlemen, I'm in the north woods of Wisconsin until 8 July & don't have access to my desk top computer that has the On Target application. If memory serves me correctly, my grouping measured out at 0.339, but I'm getting older so I can't depend on my memory. With that measurement and looking at...

Nice looking shootin iron there SecretCode! It appears to really like the speer tnt load.

At this rate of participation, I definitely think Skipper should submit a target! I doubt any of us that have sent in a target would have a problem with Skipper entering the fray.

Thanks Skipper! I'm glad I was able to participate in the competition again. Hopefully there will be more than 3 targets submitted.

Skipper, I sent SecretCode my target by mistake, I tried sending you my target again today. Let me know if I got it right this time!

I'm thinking there is at least 4 targets in the competition as I sent mine in yesterday. I don't think I set the competition "on fire", but I don't think the target looks too terrible considering it was shot by an old man using a bone stock Savage model 12 FV!

Hi Skipper. I just got back from the north woods "sticks" and got connected to the inter web. The target looks like it's worthy of competition, even with the rat distraction  Now it's time for me to get to the range on a windless day & punch some holes. I do like the idea of sendi...

Thanks Skipper!
