Re: Reloading for AR 15 Platform

Yes, the RCBS 10307 dies set should solve your problem. I use the 11107 dies for my 42 year old Colt and have had no FTF or FTE to date. As Bill K stated, trim to length is very important to proper feeding.

Re: Bullet weight

I'm leaning towards the scale. I use an electronic scale, the old beam scale got to be a pain in the butt. My 32 gr v-max weigh in at 32 with an occasional 31.9. I would segregate any that aren't on the money any and shoot those in their own group. I've found that my groups will change with that sli...

Hand held priming unit

I've been thinking about getting a hand primer for everything I run through my single stage press. I was hoping to get some feed back from some of the members here. Who makes the good ones, which brands to stay away from and in general how does it compare to a bench or press mounted ones? I have a L...

Re: Redding body die

Jepp2, thanks for your input. Most of what you have laid out I have been doing, I just needed some validation so I knew I was pointed in the right direction. I use RCBS dies and neck size only for the 204, 22-250, 25-06 and 30-06. Everything else I F/L size. I guess I'll be ordering more Reddings do...

Redding body die

I have a Redding body sizing die on the way and I'm looking for any tips/suggestions for bumping back the shoulder. I'm also considering the Hornady headspace gauge kit so I can establish a reference point. Any do's or don't would be appreciated.

Re: 204 Ruger cleaning equipment

I use a Dewy rod and a spear point jag. After the patch and jag clear the muzzle, the jag come offs before the Dewy comes back through.
I use Bucthes Bore Shine and Butches Gun Oil, I used both on my V/T during barrel break-in. I can't say it helped but the gun shoots extremely tight groups.

Re: Tell us about yourself...

Hello fellow shooter, I'm Mark and live in the Midwest. First let me thank you for allowing me to be a participant on this site. I'm 56 and I am semi retired, still working on it, lol. My shooting started back in 1979, my first gun was a 35 rem and I still have it. From there it went to a 30-06 then...
