Re: 2017 204 Ruger Five Shot Challenge
I'm betting my "one" shot group will be just as competitive as everyone else's.

Re: electronic powder scales
The electronic scales usually need several minutes to warm up and they become "more" stable, but the two that I have used still would drift which requires recalbrating or "zeroing" on a regular basis. They are accurate but it's frustrating to keep hitting the tare/zero button num...

Re: Skippy Flies via 32gr Motivation
Hah, didn't think about the PB thing and posting pictures. Looks like it was still a good trip, cool mornings, then warming up is perfect IMO. We've had lows in the upper 60's to low 70's with high humidity here in E TN for most of July, highs in the low to mid 90's. AC is working OT and will be for...

Thanks RIO, kinda figured that but never hurts to ask. Head shots are more challenging anyways. LOL

Re: Is the 204 Ruger right for me...?
Is the 17HMR still effective with body shots at 200 on rock chucks? Quick & clean kill, or a lot of crawl offs, etc.??

Re: Scpoe Mounts for Anschutz 1517 Heavy Barrel?
RIO; I tried 2 different sets of medium and one set of high rings and did not get the clearance (actually no clearance  ) and read where people had success with the Talley high rings on the 64MPR, so to end my frustration, I went that route. I have more clearance than I wanted/needed but I can ...

Re: Scpoe Mounts for Anschutz 1517 Heavy Barrel?
I put some Talley "high" rings on my 64MPR to get the clearance I needed for a Sightron 36x scope. I use this rig in ARA matches. Allows me to shoot free recoil on a rest & rear bag. Different uses, but I need the high rings for scope clearance.

Re: Morning Walkabout with my 20VT
I grew up not far from Rogersville, still have family in the "Tri-Cities" area in upper E TN. Yeah we have GH's & yotes around here, but it's hard to find land owners that will give you permission to hunt their property. I have gotten permission from a couple of owners but their proper...

Re: Morning Walkabout with my 20VT
Cool pictures. I live near Knoxville TN. I was out in MT in the mid 90's for a PD trip, enjoyed it alot, have always wanted to go back and do it again but life got in the way (work/family/yada yada), but retired now so I trying to get my act together and make another trip out "thata way" f...
