Death in the Tall Grass

No pics, our two dayer; first morning in Lassen Co second in Modoc not our busiest shooting, but the chance to see the flying ones kept up motivated. Got permission on a new rancher too.

Great shooting in the Chuck's, I keep looking for some rim rock, but still looking. My brother has has a couple of good shoots last wk and a couple of days ago, so we're doing a two dayer starting Wednesday.

the numbers of squeaks drops off noticeably after about 1100 and doesn't pick up till about 1530 here,

The ranch we're on will probably really get with the baling within a few days, I'd go again next WK but I got a commitment...Damm.

Pictures this time, we couldn't get enough of a good thing and did a two-dayer, my brother traveled I RON'd in Burney. There still wasn't much baled but Tuesday was a great day, we started out in the unnamed field which is now called "Fly Park" which produced some, we then moved to Granpa'...

!!Warning!! No pics: Brother and I went to our Ranch out of Bieber our favorite fields we're mowed but no raked, so we set up shooting against some higher ground on a yet unnamed field at 0600 and had great shooting till they started raking, then we moved to Bodhi's hill and shot till 1300 and heade...

Randy just got BK from Eagle Lake 12 days, never made it to C'ville. Think I'll call early next week and ask about they're harvest plans, I'll let you know.

Bill I've needed much of an excuse to go shooting or hunting, since retirement I'm still shooting them Squeakers in July.

Yes, I wanted to shoot at 300 about 5 days or so ago but too much mud after 200, now North winds!! but yes let's do a range day.

I know, I told my brother to count 4 tee post from the wood post with his scope, first he thought i staged it, then said it would make a great YouTube clip. Showed it to some other shooters they got a big kick out if it and took some Pictures. Hope your back makes a complete recovery.
