The 204R has permitted the brass available for two of Reeder's Raptors to join my lineup. the 7mm and the 30 cal. https://i.postimg.cc/9FJ2V11x/7-TCU-and-Raptor.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/Z5t8bFRd/30-Raptor-and-Blackout.jpg I'm into the wildcats and after I started with the 222 Rem Mag Imp I got conce...
Had it not been for Ruger's introduction of the 204 with support and assistance by Hornady in 2004, the 222 Remington Magnum case might have lost to the annals of time. I had become somewhat concerned, prior to it's announcement, as to my future of feeding my first wildcat, a 222 Rem Mag Improved ba...

It holds 'em inside a tennis ball at 100 yds but it brethren contender wears a 23" barrel and can reliably tag a quarter from the bench at that range.
I've only used 32 gr. bullets
Here's a factory rifle for you! I call him Stumpy, he has a 15" threaded barrel and a muzzle break that brings the OAL to 17" https://i.postimg.cc/15H598f9/204-Ruger-Stumpy-II.jpg I only wish the barrel were thinner as that small deficit created by the 20 caliber bore leaves a lot of weight.
It is my most accurate setup!
I can literally hit a dime at 100 yds.
I need to shoot at a variety of ranges that I can get a feel of it's trajectory
I look forward to that learning curve
