Re: New to reloading

Well I got out once more to try the 39sbk and a few more 40gr noslers, I think I am going to give up on the 40s for now and stick to the 39sbks, I just can’t get the 40s to shoot under 2” groups, I haven’t tried any other powder with it other than h4895, but the 39s are shooting good, in my last tes...

Re: New to reloading

Finally got back out and shot a few of the 39gr
Sierra BlitzKings, with the h4895, the groups were quite a bit better than the 40gr Noslers, going to work a little more with a few of these loads, and see what happens, and maybe try the noslers a bit more.

Re: New to reloading

Okay, I understand but let me rephrase my question so I am on the same page, if you have 2 loads of different charges made up with the same seating depth, and group A shoots a little better than group B, isn’t it possibly that group B may shoot better than group A with a different seating depth, or ...

Re: New to reloading

One question on bullet seating depth, when I seated these I went out just about as far as I could, when doing a load development should one start the loads in at what the book says then work out? I know it will more than likely change your groups, but is it possibly for some charges to shoot better ...
