Re: Basic P.D. hunting questions

I just had to add my dittos as I am very familiar with Wy, especially the SW corner. And early to mid-May is the best shooting. The young'uns have just come up and will stand on the mound with their parents. Into June is when they strike out on their own. They'll still be there but they are trying t...

Re: Dogtown bullets

Very preliminary, but I did shoot a good .75" group with my very 1st Dogtown reloads last weekend. 26.5 gr H4895 in brand new WW brass. I only shot 3 rounds as I built these for the wifes new HandiRifle that didn't show up before we left town.

Re: Greetings from Iraq

That is surprising that Mutada (I have no idea how to spell that!) is now shooting back and the media has not filled the news with it.
That does make them easier to find and defeat though, right? I hope so.
Keep your head down and your chin up....YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!!
Godspeed.

I do have a problem with that, but Waldo, Mike, and Yotesmoker did a great job of covering it for me. Well said boys!!!

Re: Looking for places to hunt PD in Wyoming

Utahshooter , perhaps you should hang out on the local forum, Utahwildlife.net. Over there they love to give each other destructive criticism and tell each other what to do. Around here it's just a bunch of good guys trying to help each other out. If I sent a PM then it wouldn't help near as many p...

Re: Yote off of the deck

DANG that is one heck of a backyard you have there!!! That is the one great thing that I lack in this neck of the woods. I would LOVE to be able to shoot off of the porch. I'm jealous...I have to walk about a half mile to shoot skippy (legally).
That is a great looking dog and a pretty rifle.

Why in the heck do they do this to us? If they still aren't ready yet, why did they start advertising them months ago?

Re: Trying to fight the urge!!!!

You all are DANG funny. I'm with Glen on this one!!! Buy the rifle so your wife has something to shoot!!! Adam, if you want to stay single I understand. But there are a lot of great women out there that would go shooting/hunting with you and trying to find that one is half the fun! A very wise frien...

Ditto on the "let us know how she shoots". I love mine and you were smart to replace the factory trigger. Lets see some target pics!!!

Re: Here's a scary thought

I agree that a political forum, if we can all agree to keep it out of the mud, could be very interesting. In the interest of full disclosure, my first choice would have been a little to the right of Fred Thompson. Or Ron Paul without the horrible foreign policy. With all due respect to RayfromTX, I ...

Re: Here's a scary thought

The possibility of a third term for Bill would not keep him from being VP. The constitution only states that you may not be elected for President more than twice. There is no mention of being appointed due to assassination, illness, etc. But at this point Crazy2 is right. Obama is going to be the pr...

Re: Here's a scary thought

Melvin, that is an interesting, if not horrifying senario. One reason that it does not scare me though.....It would require Hillary to GIVE UP POWER. Something I'm sure she would not do. heck, I'm not sure she is physiologically capable of giving up power! Scary proposition? Yes. But when you really...
