Re: Neck sizing?
You probably won't see great increases in your accuracy, but you should see a small improvement, assuming you are capable of doing your part on the range. Which usually means you have a good rest and are shooting consistent groups to start with.

Re: ar-15
Mine came in at around $1600 but I put in a Jewell trigger (~$175), a Krieger 10 twist chambered by Compass Lake Engineering including the bolt ($475 worth every penny), a Compass Lake Space Gun Float Tube ($100), and the walnut burl stock which I did myself so the only cost was the wood ($100). If ...

Re: ar-15
serpent71, Are you thinking of buying one already built or building one yourself? I knew nothing about them but built one using a Krieger 10 twist 24†barrel and a Jewel trigger and it shoots .3†groups all day long if I do my part. The barrel was chambered by Compass Lake Engineering, m...

Re: 204 vs cougar
I feel that we should do all we can to make sure that the animals we hunt do not suffer, and die quickly. I feel this is our responsibility and should not be taken lightly. I’m sure we have all seen the anti-hunting films of the “Evil Hunter†shooting a bear or buffalo 7 or 8 time...

Re: WS2 Coated Bullets
I know that Moly can be corrosive in a humid environment, but what about WS2? Anyone have any data to say it's not? Just wondering if it's ok to pre-treat the barrel after cleaning and put it away for next time or if you should pre-treat just before shooting?

Re: scope mueller eradicator 8.5x25
Is it a 8.5 power with a 25mm objective or a 8.5x25 magnification?

Will do hope to have some data by the end of next week. Make sure to contact WrzWaldo to get your supply of WS2.

Re: WS2 = more consistancy
I just bought some from WrzWaldo so I don't have any data yet. (great price if you what to try it you almost can't lose buying a couple oz from him). I don't expect the accuracy to improve at least not with the first 50-70 rounds, but it is suppose to foul less so your accuracy stays longer between ...

Re: My brass seems to be too soft
I'll bet that you have the seating die down too far and it's trying to crip the necks of your brass. you don't need any crip on 204 back the seating die out a couple of turns so that the crip isn't even close to the case neck. You probably have it set just right for most of your cases then you get o...

Re: Interesting new 26 gr. bullet from Barnes
Something to keep in mind, most factory barrels are 1X12 twist it looks like this is going to be a long bullet so I'd bet they don't shoot well in most factory barrels. It's not the weight that determines the twist its the lenght of the bullet. The Berger 50's are are really long bullet that shoot r...

Re: WS2 Coated Bullets
I’ve been really tempted to try them but it seams to me that if you have to increase the amount of powder in your load, won’t that lead to shorter barrel life not longer barrel life??? Just thinking out loud here, but it’s the powder that ultimately burns a barrel out not heat f...

Re: Moly or not to Moly...that is the question.
Do you have the same corrosion concerns as you do with Moly? And are there any special barrel cleaning procedures you have to do with WS2?
