Pretty Jealous that's for sure. I'd be willing to bet your liking the 17 tac Varmint Shooter. What kinda pills are your prescribing for your dogs?

Re: Tick-Tock....it's almost time
Your not kiddin' Rick. Cant wait to get rid of this snow. I'm really starting to get some spring fever. We had low 30's a couple of days ago. I was out grilling in a t-shrit for Pete's sake. It also doesn't help that my prairie dog partner is from the middle of ND and doesn't have near the amount of...

Re: Fat summer coyote taken.
Holy Moly Ohiolongarm, I'd bet there is probably a fawn or two still digesting in that dog. Impressive for a warm season coyote that's for sure.

Re: Richardson Ground Squirrels
Sounds like my kinda morning Bill. So how do you like those NTX's? Haven't really bothered looking into them. I know you poor souls trapped in Kalifornistan dont have a choice. I've read some reviews i.e. Eric M from Varminter Forum but I know a v-max will provide plenty of pop most of the time.

Richardson Ground Squirrels
Or as the they are more commonly called around these parts; Flickertails. Half sized prairie dogs basically. Got a long awaited chance to head out to a friend's childhood farm and blast a few out in the pastures surrounding the yard. Made the trip with .22, .17 hmr and .204 in tow. Turns out all I u...

Dakota Dogs
Well between the late almost non-existant spring and jumping right into an above average year for rainfall across the state, I finally made it out to Mandan to slay some prairie dogs with the better half's Uncle. Man how I'd been waiting for this day. It's been just a crazy summer with kids activiti...

Well if we switched it up again, cotton tails. Made my own lucky rabbits foot. 30863.jpeg Took me a couple weeks but I finally got the rest of him. 30857.jpeg With Bowtech General 350 grn carbon Express, 125 grn Muzzy 4 Blade. (I know not a 204 or even a center fire, but no boomers in town, even on ...

Re: Idaho chucks
That's definitely a Biggun' there Bill. Nice looking summer coat on the guy. Have always been amazed with Badgers. But hate having them dig a whole big enough to break the rear axle of a 25,000 lb combine. Been there done that.

Re: Idaho chucks
Road/Pasture wrecking buggers. Hopefully they feel like having you usher them into the promised land. Haven't had a chance at one for a year or two. Had a double the last time we were out for praire dogs. Pic confirmed one of the two. The second one did the Hokey Pokey down his hole. No pic :( 30811...

Re: Spring Sickness not just Spring Fever
Jeez Rick that chuck looks like a girl I wish I didnt know in college.
That guy must have been from your walk about I noticed over on AccutareShooter.
Nothing special on the screen name, just a nickname I had as a kid bestowed upon me by an older cousin.

Re: Spring Sickness not just Spring Fever
It did feel good. This spring is just playing havoc on the senses. We had a late blizzard in the beginning of April and then a slow melt which really helped the overland flooding. Finally it warmed up to barely 70's a few days ago and just today most of North Dakota woke up to snow and rain. Luckily...
