Re: Cooler Weather and Gophers
Normally I do Rick. It was just one of those things. Ruger mkiv hunter is usually on deck but never even grabbed it that morning. Rolled to a stop and looking with the bino's out for more targets and heard the grass rustling at the base of the fenceline with and open window. Was more surprised to se...

Cooler Weather and Gophers
Drove around some new country right after the kids got on the bus not to far from home and wanted a few doves for dinner, didn't work out that way but I'll trade that for a few hours of gopher shooting. .204 with 39 gr blitzking's over IMR XBR 8208. Went 11 for 13. Wind was staring to affect hold an...

Sweet Mamma Jamma! Wow Rick. Thanks for going through the work of scanning those. That must've been some fun. Just out of curiosity who built and brought that rig.

6.5'x14' utility trailer. Nothing special, gets the 4 wheeler out there and acts as some needed elevation to get above the grass.

Another Thank You and Half to Tarrin for keeping this Forum alive and going. I haven't been a member long but did lurk for a few years before I joined. Learned so much from other members even if I was never directly in contact with them. My fault for not signing up earlier when I first found it. Lea...

Re: New Forum Title?
No problem here. Only the one .20 cal as of yet. But love my .204 and love the cal. Will have a Vartarg one day. Also have a practical on the short/long list. Whatever we need to keep this forum from folding like a cheap suit. That also might make a cartridge specific 5 on a dime shoot. If skipper o...

Re: 2022 Ghost Bullseye 5 Shot Challenge WINNERS CIRCLE
Congrats again Bill! I shot my target early in June as I knew it would be one of the only times I would have this summer. No excuses but dang busy for sure. Not even sure if it made it to Skipper by the deadline. And that's all on me if it didn't. I do apologize to Skipper if it didnt. Sincerely don...

Re: 6mm Remington Light Bullets
I was hoping that I could get H380 to stack these in an acceptable group. Wasn't to be. Will still try some different powders as they become available. That's the fun right. Was also a .243 not 6 rem. Guy, Really have been enjoying your guest appearances on Ultimate Reloader. Keep it up an also Gavi...

Re: The Artic Rat Shoot
Thanks for sharing Rick. We're in the same boat as you this year. We were warming up and then all of North Dakota got hit by a spring Blizzard. SE corner of the state was the luckiest with minimal snow and wind. Only a few inches over a few days. My sister's place west of Jamestown was 25 mph wind a...

Re: N530 in 204 R and 17 Rem
Have a couple of KG's to try for .204 with a few bullets. Bought it for that and .223. Did find some decent starting points in my AR .223. Only started reloading last yr and powder stock was non existent in my armory so I have to buy what I could find that could work. I thought I read its similar bu...
